Life's not fair. Sure you can land in a well off family, be feed well, have all the bells and whistles you want. But not have the love that you always wanted since you were a baby crying out for it. Your dad is the governor of the state and is always away on business at the capital. And your mother is a senator, always at the nation's capital far away from you and him. The only love you ever received was from the nannies that raised you for 13 years. Then your father got rid of them the instant he said you were moving to a city closer to the capital, so he could come and see you more often. But you knew that was one big fat lie, nothing could tear him away from his work. So you were torn away from your friends and home and moved to new domino city where you always heard stories of the people here being snobbish rich people or extremely poor dirty homeless guys on the street. So you werent particularly thrilled to be here.
Your dad had dropped you off at your new apartment in the tops, the so called home of the elite of the city. Great you might snobbish money grubber. As your dad opened the door he patted you on your shoulder and said
"Welcome to your new home son" You took the first steps into your new apartment and looked around. It was fairly big, then again on the near top floor and apartments tend to get bigger the ways you go up. You let out a sigh as you made your way to the couch and unstrapped your back pack and slumped down. Your dad not being able to take a hint just dumbly smiled "Well i'll just leave the keys here by the door in case you want to do some exploring. Heck you might find a friend" He said happily as he set the keys down by a near by table next to the door. You really hated all this, and honestly you just wanted to tell your dad to blow off. But you lacked the courage and he just left you again to get back to work. You let out another sigh as you opened your bag and took out a picture. In it was you, the two nannies that took care of you, and your two best friends Lea and Jack at your 13th birthday party. You sighed and almost let out a tear. It just wasn't fair. What gives someone the right to rip you away from your life and leave you all alone all the time. Just when you were on the verge of tears you heard a knock come from your door. Maybe it was your dad who was stupid enough to give you the only pair of keys to this place. You let out another sigh as you got up
"I'm coming just hold up" you said as you made your way from the couch and to the door. You opened the door expecting your father but getting a big surprise instead. In the hallway was a girl about your age maybe a year younger with green hair in pig tails wearing white shorts and over shirt with a red and gold under long sleeve. You were left a gasped, this girl... you didnt know why just seemed different from the others you had meet before. She had almost a raidance coming off her as she gestured her hand toward you
"Hi, you must be the new person living here. i'm Luna, I live in the penthouse one floor up" She explained as you mentally slap yourself back into reality and shook her hand, which you swore you could feel a spark off of when you held her hand.
"Hi, I'm *your name*" you said surprisingly nicely before you parted hands
"I can't believe another kid lives here now. It's always just been me and my brother Leo"
"Oh really?" You said trying to show that you were intrigued as you tried to figure this girl out. The thought of letting her in your apartment went across your mind when...
