Not feeling well enough to really do anything and bored out of your mind at the same time, you figure you should check on your little brother to find if he had anything fun planned. You recall that your brother would currently be hanging out with his friend at his house, but, luckily for you, said house is only a few blocks away. You get yourself dressed and put on some socks and shoes. "I'm going to check on James."
"Okay. Be careful, Jazz." Your mother replies with concern. If you had to get to James through car, your mother might not have let you leave the house in your current condition. She can be as protective towards you as you are to your siblings sometimes. You go out for a walk in a beautiful sunny day, something that is surprisingly a bit more difficult than you thought it would be. You're not sure if it's the summer heat or your current ailment, but you find it hard to focus, especially with the occasional tingling sensation running through your body and your legs threatening to wobble and give up on you. However, after about ten minutes, you go indeed make it to where James and his friend, George, are hanging out.
Because the two boys left the front door open and you are a regular trusted guest anyway, you excuse yourself into the house. You find them in the living room playing video games in the living room like normal. "Hi, guys." You greet them and they turn to you in response. However, unexpectedly, they look at you with shock instead of the usual welcome you would normally get in return. "What's wrong?" They don't speak for a few seconds, but George is the one to break the silence first.
