You could not believe what had happened to you and the fact that you had been in a coma for a month. You tried to sit up but you were a little weak. The nurse gently placed her hand on your shoulders for you to lie back into the bed.

"Your mom is still here. Would you like to see her now?", she asked.

"Y-yes, please", you replied.

The nurse left the room to call your mom, and you continued to look around your surroundings. You looked again at the numerous cards on the table and you reached for the nearest one.

It was from your brother James. "Hey bro, Don't be shocked when you wake up, but you're a girl now, but I love you still. Get well."

Mom entered the room and gave you a hug.

"I really missed you. How are you feeling now?", she soothed.

You did not reply immediately as you were still trying to put the pieces together in your mind. Mom stroked your longer hair and looked closely at your face. "We were waiting until you woke up so that we can go home. Would you like that?", she asked. You nodded.

"Great. As soon as the doctors take a look at you, we can go home, I hope.", she said.
