Pan was very upset with her grandpa. First, he returns home after being away for years but in the body of a child, and then he and the rest of their family and friends treat her like a kid by forbidding her from going to space with Goku to search for the Black Star Dragon Balls.
'It's not fair. Grandpa is smaller than me now and yet I'm not allowed to go to space but he is?! Even Dad was younger than me when he went to Planet Namek' thought Pan as she walked outside of Capsule Corporation. After a few moments, she noticed that her grandpa was following her.
"Where are we going?" asked Goku.
"What we? I'm not allowed to go to space with you so you're not allowed to come with me" replied Pan.
"Oh come on Pan. It'll be fun, just like old times."
Pan was about to yell out at her grandpa when she was reminded of what she had said the night before, that her grandpa looks like he should still be in diapers.
'If I can get Grandpa back in diapers, that'll prove I'm more of an adult than him. Then, either they'll force Grandpa to stay on Earth or I'll be allowed to go to space with him.'
With her new plan to diaper her grandpa, Pan instead replied "Ok, Grandpa. You can come with me so that we can hang out."
