That mocking smirk don't leave her face, ooh I'll get you, be sure of that. Now of course, i think, i should do that, totally.
"My Dear Risa, let me remind you who your trainer is?" I smirk now.
"Mph, nine, nine ni nine tail" Her tone is begrudged, but at least she listen, or not. In from of my eyes Risa seat and look at me with obvious challenge, and annoyance.
Well, i suppose that dragging her along on a trek on a snowy mountain wasn't the most wisest thing i could do, but after all, she is my Pokemon, and my best friend since i was....9? Well she was a lot smaller, and cute, and fluffy but still...
"Come on Risa, rock don't lift themselves.."
"Nine, nine tail" I have the feeling..
"Should i ask you please?" She still doesn't move, alright Risa you asked for this
"Okay then, however i was just thinking about a certain Vaporeon.." She look at me with confusion
"You know, the one we meet at the daycare, the one just entered when i come to get you out, he seems to like you, a lot" Risa start looking scared
"If i remember correctly you heat season start soon, sooo?" She look angry now
"NINE NINE NINE TAIL NINE!" You sure?
"Why Risa, i would never force you, however nature must run it's course, although there would be an alternative, like...you know it happened before."
Her cheek turn red, i can see this even with her fur, our "adventure" was a little forced on her side, not that i was complaining, i know she love me, or at least i think she does. Pokemon are a lot more free with affection than human, especially in certain condition. Not that this happen officially, but since when public official says the truth? Like when that Zapdos "attacked" Celestic Town, and a "brave" 26 year old trainer "calmed "Her" down". Lucky bastard. Is not that all Pokemon female are slut, it's just that their concept of species and acceptable mate varies a lot, natural all considered. Witch bring me to the present. Looking at myself for damage i see my dark red suit cover my form perfectly, just like my dark blue short, black hiking shoes, blue toned short hair, green eyes and a orange sleeves complete the picture, being 72 inches and by weighing 78 kg i consider myself pretty much in shape. Yep, fully healthy, no harm.
"So Risa, will you help your...lov"
"NINE!" she immediately come and dig out the rock, or better say boulder that nearly got my foot, that instead ruined part of the backpack when it landed. Lucky once again then, okay i can live with that. I am not a fool that believe that my skill can get me out of anything, sometimes only the lady luck can help us. Sort of. Maybe. Risa don't like to speak of that particular event, even if i know she like when i pet her, or suggest something, maybe we will become more than friend, or maybe we are already. I have a really close bind with all my poke, my buddies, but with her is special, always has been. Will this change when i will meet a woman, a human woman, or not? Probably not, frankly.
Or another Pokemon, can i really love them, just like i love Risa? I really love Risa? I am not sure, i must think of this for a while longer.
After a few second a small hole cleverly excavated near the boulder, make it roll off i finally i can check the damage. It landed just over the pokeball container.
"Shit!" Hastily i check for anything salvageable, and it seems that Lady Luck favor me once more, at least in part.
"Two Ultra Ball, better than nothing" I had a Master ball too, o well i am alive and intact, Risa and the rest of team, are fine. Their ball in my belt are intact. I choose to bring only 3 Pokemon with me, why? Training, both mine and theirs, we need to strengthen or bounds, it's what make us strong. Common trainer and novice just can't understand how important, no fundamental this all is. A strong bond make your team stronger. I think that the link connect the vital energy of the Pokemon to their trainer is double-sided, both of us get advantage over it. How? No idea.
"Thanks Risa, your "free" help is always appreciated" Gesturing free with my hand.

"Let's go then, adventures awaits!" I am sure to hear Risa say something. Turning to her
"What?"
"Nine!" She give me a nervous smile
"Not much further now!" Finally the interminable caves end, light from the cave peak come down upon us, blinding and beautiful, fresh air too.
Spear Pillar, in all it's rocky glory. How many trainer come here just to have the chance of seeing the legendary, my Favorite legendary actually. Oh yes, Palkia and Dialga, the master of time and space. Or mistress? No, it's doesn't matter now."Onward!" i say.
Risa follow behind me closely, she is tense i can see that, i feel it too. Since that night, i feel her, sort of, feel what she is feeling, not pain but, you know, sensation. She is nervous, something is here. Something watching us. Maybe them? So the legend it's true? Only one way to find out.
Walking warily we reach the central..ruin? Yes i suppose it can be called that way, and look at...emptiness actually.
You know i always considered myself a smart guy, maybe not Alakazam smart, but smart nonetheless. But the nervousness coming from the link with Risa combined with my overeagerness to see MY Legendary, make me do something i know will NOT regret. Make sense right?
"Dialga! Palkia! Come forth, i want to see you! To feel your presence! I Justin Frem, want to know what kind of "god" you really are! If you are a gods at all."
The earth start trembling beneath my feet, and in that moment i knew, i pissed off something quite powerful. Can't be more excited!
A flash appear before me, no wait TWO!? Fantastic i will see them both! Let's just hope that i will be able to tell the tale. Argh! Why mi mind shift so? My emotion, Risa? These are her emotion?
I don't have much time to ponder this as both the legend of time and space appear before me.
"Human!"
Shit! they are screaming in my head! Can't you both tone it down, i am trying to watch in awe here for Arceus sake!
Unbelievable, or perhaps not, they start watching ME in awe, at least for a moment then
"Very well human, what do you wish? Why you summoned us?" I think this is Palkia, but their voice..
"Why i want to feel how is to stand in the presence of the incarnation of time and space, can't a trainer just try to relax from time to time?"
Both look at me like i lost my mind, and i feel Risa emotion telling me something like, "we are dead".
This time is Dialga that decide to speak
"Relax, in our presence? What madness is this? Didn't you come here for challenging us like all the others?" I have heard well the first time, their voice..
"Why of course, beside i only have 2 balls with me, and only other 2 member of my team, i haven't come here to capture but to know"
Dialga say "Know what?" Expecting some deep and trough question about dimension or the nature of the universe i wager. Instead
"Whats the last time any of you two got relief?" Risa look at me with a stare that leave no uncertainty on what she is thinking right now, that i am completely nuts.
The "deity" look at me with wild eyes, uncertainty in their feature
"Vacation, leisure walk, getting laid you know the usual"
Palkia that screaming "ARE YOU MOCKING US!?"
"No" then i add.
Many trainer has come here, to capture you, how many of them taunted both of you in match? On how many you answered?
The anger leave their feature and Dialga say
"Many, only a few"
"May i ask why, those few?"
Palkia answer "They where worthy"
"Why there where worthy? They saved the world? Helped Pokemon? Pure of Hearth? Or is something more?" Accentuating the word more.
They look at each other for a moment, then looking at me again, Dialga reply
"They where worthy" unsatisfied with the answer i press forward
"Why then you reply to my call?" They look at each other again, but before they could speak i declare
"It's because they Loved their Pokemon, right? Really loved them, so much to have a physical relation with them?"
The unthinkable happen, the question that plagued me since that night, finally is cured
Both reply "Yes"
Then i boldly say "Don't you wish the same?"
Both answer "Are you worthy?"
"Yes"
Still both "Waht make you so certain, you said to don't want our power, but still seek it?"
"No, i want answer" They look at me bewildered, then i add
"One i have already got, the other.."
"My legendary, i want you both!" They look at me like i am has gone crazy, but then both speak
"Prove us that you deserve our answer, that you are our rightful other, or die here"
"So be it!"   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
