Simon shrugged and tossed the book aside, figuring he’d take care of it later. he didn’t notice the book slide across the table only to coincidentally fall into his backpack. Simon set to work on reshelving the books and hours quickly dwindled away.
Arriving home after work, Simon wasn’t surprised to find Patricia and Kim already there, sitting around the coffee table. His slender roommate and her plump friend were gabbing about something he didn’t care to remember over a pizza while they.
