Profile: Sam is an American immigrant living with his parents in Japan. He has lived most of his life there and has grown up to fear digimon like most of Japan's native citizens. After the D-Reaper had almost swallowed the city the human populace saw all digimon as a potential threat along with the rest of the world. Your parents moved to Japan after losing their jobs in America. Since Japan was still a hot spot for digimon it was considered a dangerous place. In fact your city is still considered THE most dangerous city in the world despite no human deaths related to digimon in the past decade, and a low crime rate. Because of this property costs went down to a record low, allowing your parents to easily move and purchase a new house almost immediately. Because you're parents both have to work two jobs just to support your three-person family you grew up mostly with no parental supervision. This lack of law and order soon made you apathetic to the actual law. You started getting kicked out of school for causing trouble. You soon met your best friend Miko Kakashi in sixth grade. You were both troublemakers and fire starters so you took a liking in him quickly. Depression soon set in, in your teen years however. You started to believe that you would end up in a similar fate as your parents, working tirelessly to simply provide for yourself. Because of this you started turning to drinking, smoking cigarettes and petty crimes. You may not do well in school but you reserve your wit and cunning for other things, like stealing that bottle of Jack Daniels from the local liquor store or spying on the police chief's daughter and hopefully your future lover Mia Matsuki. You wouldn't call yourself a hero per say, but you'll do what's right at the end of the day... if you believe in it enough.
