Even after her enormous humiliation suffered at school due to the failure of the size gun and after crying in the forest Edna found the strength to get up even though nothing would have been possible without her best friend Ruthie she had always been there for her even when it was children. Edna knew it for a long time but the reality was that she liked Ruthie, it was when she entered puberty that Edna became clear about her feelings about Ruthie, it was impossible for her to deny that she had fallen in love with her best friend, although she always wanted to tell her, however, the fear that Ruthie didn't feel the same way, she scared Edna, besides that, there was Heather Fuckin Milles, she had always made fun of the fact that she and Ruthie were more than friends, and although she hated Heather, she had to say that at least in some way she was right, she liked Ruthie, that's why she she had decided that once she had gotten back at Heather she would declare her feelings to Ruthie she had planned to enlarge herself first with the size gun and then Ruthie so she would crush Heather and then declare to Ruthie if she accepted her she would turn her into a his wife and she would be the one who would rule next to her they would both rule the world like two huge giant goddesses and if he rejected her well... at least he would have his best friend here accompanying her on her gigantic adventures.
They were currently in the costume shop, with the whole business of creating their size gun and spending all their time on it. Edna didn't know anything about the Halloween costume party tomorrow night, luckily Ruthie told her. he had said in the woods as he lamented.
Although Heather's first attempt at revenge had failed, Edna saw another opportunity at the Halloween party, everyone would go in costume, it was the perfect opportunity to get revenge on Heather, she had time to fix the gun, once that was done, she would appear at the party and finally get what she deserved. revenge with Heather and since everyone would go in disguise even she no one would know what happened to Hetaher and much less who was clear there could be suspicions with what happened today but using her size gun no one would find a way to frame her if Heather mysteriously disappeared she could simply shrink Heather at the party and “accidentally” squash her or take Heather somewhere deep in the woods become a giant and squash her no one would believe that her physical form could turn Heather to a bloody pulp let alone that she could turn herself into a bloody pulp in giant thanks to his pistol. However, Edna was still planning her revenge against Heather, in addition to the fact that the lightning was still to be repaired, however, that would be for later, for now she would worry about her disguise.
"Have you made up your mind, Edna?" Ruthie asked.
"Not yet," Edna answered.
They had been in the costume store called "monster house" it was a good store it had been open for about 40 years although people preferred to go to shopping malls to look for more expensive costumes.
They had been here for half an hour looking for a costume for herself she thought a mage or a vampire would be good choices but then she remembered her revenge against Heather so she decided her costume should be a costume befitting her revenge so here she was Deciding between a devil's costume or an angel's costume, one of a devil's will be quite consistent with the action of taking revenge on Heather, but that of an angel could give it a certain irony, however, even so, she did not feel that it would be very appropriate, so she decided that perhaps a costume of a super heroine or a supervillain would be better. She didn't seem to be 1 or 2 years older than she had brown hair, acne, and blue eyes, in addition to her face saying that she didn't want to be here. His shirt said his name was Chad. He was watching a show on a small TV that was on the counter.
"Uh, excuse me"
"Yeah" Chad said bored as he popped the gum that was in his mouth.
"I was wondering if you don't have superheroine or supervillain costumes in stock?"
Chad looked at her and Ruthir for a few seconds and finally sighed.
"follow me"
They both followed chad through the door that was near the counter the store went down some stairs to another door where chad used a key to open it the store was as big as Edna's room was full of various costumes which made her surprised both her and Ruthie
"Why do you have so many costumes here, could you just sell them?"
The costumes are made after characters who are no longer famous, in this day and age people consider them outdated and never buy them, that's what my boss told me.
Edna looked at the costumes, in fact she knew some of these characters and she knew quite well that they were from the 80s, so seeing a costume of them was surprising.
"There are several superhero and villain costumes in that wardrobe, although they are for characters that are no longer popular, please don't mix them up, my boss will kill me if you do, when you decide, go up"
"Sure" Edna said as she was followed by Ruthie
Edna saw the costumes to be of quite old characters they looked incredible how can people not buy these things
"Woah there are character costumes that my mother used to see in her childhood" Ruthie said in an incredulous tone.
While searching among the clothes, one of them caught Edna's attention when she took it out, she was so surprised
"An ultrawoman costume!"
"Who" Ruthie said
"She's a superhero from a 90s comic, it's about a girl who has an accident in a laboratory and transforms into a muscular and sexy superwoman but not muscular like an athlete but very, very muscular almost as big as a bodybuilder in fact bigger than one"
"Do you have comics of her?" Ruthie asked.
"Well, I had," Edna said, remembering that the ultrawoman comics were among the pile of comics she shrunk yesterday.
Ruthie looked at the costume which looked very revealing like a bathing suit and said
"It was not to wear many clothes"
"That was his most notorious characteristic along with his arrogance, he would always show off his huge muscles along with his beauty"
Ruthie looked at the costume a little thoughtfully and said
"Edna, do you think they'll let you attend the party with that?"
"Ruthie, don't you remember last year Heather literally came in a Wonder Woman costume that was more like underwear, literally it was just her red and blue bra and thong, and she even won the best costume contest."
Ruthie had not forgotten that all the votes had gone to Heather for her revealing costume, although they had only chosen her as the winner for her body, leaving aside the other competitors who personally had better costumes.
"Fair point"
"Well then this will be my costume" Edna said happily oh she couldn't wait to fix her size gun
They both went back upstairs and saw Chad sitting watching TV.
"Wow so fast" Chad said in a bored tone.
"How much will it be for the costume"
"$100 for the...ultrawoman costume"
Chad stared at the costume for a second as if he was thinking of something which made she and Ruthie look at each other in confusion.
"Hey, chad" Edna said.
Chad snapped out of his trance and said
"oh, sorry it will be 100$"
As Edna and Ruthie headed to the exit after paying for the costume, they both looked at each other.
"Why do you think he stared at the costume" Edna whispered.
"Maybe he's a fan of Ultrawoman" Ruthie whispered.
"I'm not convinced I know there was something else"
"You want to ask him"
They both stopped and looked at each other thoughtfully.
