“Do you have anything to contain them?” Nick bond Lara in a long piece of silk he had. His eyes search for the others.
“Of course I do,” Seras hand shot out like a whip to collect Dira where she was hidden under a bush. “There is a cage back on my horse. Here take her too, I will catch the rest of them.”
Nick was happy to take hold of another squirming form. His hands easily wrapped around their figures feeling the wonder curves of their feminine form. It was dangerous to get this close to a drow normally but they had no weapons and it this size they could cause little trouble.
“My brethren are nearby!” Lara tried to force the fingers apart but it was a fruitless effort. “If you don’t release me at once your torture will last a year!”
“At least you didn’t offer to spare my life little mouse,” Nick laughed. “I would have been certain you were lying with those words I am almost certain you are lying.”
He gently placed Dira in the cage but he dropped Lara from a couple of feet up. The trained warrior managed to absorb the pain of the fall with a tumble. Her face turned lethal to Nick as she heard his clapping.
“We will have great fun in dissecting you piece by piece,” she snapped.
“You can come off of it already, there is no help coming for you,” Nick slapped the cage shut. “If there had been you wouldn’t announce it. You would have just adopted a superior look to your face and waited for them to come. I bet you are a raiding party looking for some slaves. Rather ironic that you may become ones. There is a market for shrunken women and I imagine drow would be worth extra. You do tend to piss people off with all of the murder and slavery.”
Lara wanted to come up with a reply to put the man in his place beneath her heel but nothing came to mind. She hated to admit a lot of what he said was likely right unless she or one of her companions could do something. To that end, she examined the wooden cage but the lock was on the top where they couldn’t reach it. This new decorative prison was beautiful with dark wood with a lovely grain but it would not be easily broken. It was made of stone wood which even metal weapons would break upon.
“Do you have any ideas?” Lara doubted the young priestess could help but there was a chance and it beat hitting the bars until her fists were bloody.
“Veldrin might be able to unlock the cage with his skills, I could send him a message,” Dira responded.
