After taking time to enjoy her coffee while her siblings finished eating breakfast, Steph waited for her mother and Evan to leave the room and then approached Alex about her new power.
"Hey Alex," she said. "I gained this power that lets me swap anything with another person."
"You okay, Sis?" her sister asked with a laugh. "That's the kind of dumb thing I'd expect Evan to say."
Steph rolled her eyes. "I'm being totally serious. I had this dream that told me I have this power and I just feel like it's true."
"People will think you're crazy if you go around talking like that," Alex laughed.
"C'mon, don't you at least want to give it a try?" Steph asked.
"Alright. Whatever," Alex agreed.
"Okay what do you want to try swapping?" Steph asked her sister.
"Hmm..." said Alex. "How about we try swapping..."
