Alex tagged along with Stephanie in her car and both went home. Evan opened the front door to let them in and dragged Stephanie to somewhere private where Alex can't hear.
"Why did you bring Alex with you?" Evan whispered to his sister.
"Well, I was thinking of including her in our swapping business." Stephanie replied.
"I don't know if I can trust her with our secret. Who knows if she'll leak it or not."
"It was only a suggestion, I'll let you take the shots. But if it were me, I'd probably confide in Alex as well."
"Hmm..."
Evan thought about it. He could have more fun if he included Alex in the swaps but it carried more risks of his powers being exposed. Yet, he could also manipulate her into swapping some stuff she doesn't intend to swap. "Actually, I'll cross out the thought of me manipulating her," Evan thought. In the end, he decided to tell Alex about his powers.
Alex was in her room, chatting on her cell with her friends. Evan knocked on the door and entered with Stephanie behind him after granted permission to enter.
"So, what do my two older siblings want?" asked Alex. Stephanie nudged on Evan's arm, signaling for him to reveal his powers.
"Actually Alex, have you ever thought of having something from another person?" Evan started.
"Like borrowing?" Alex said, puzzled by his words.
"More than that, like having bigger boobs or being taller."
"Well, I am kind of jealous that I can't wear any boy clothes."
"Well, I have a way to do that. This morning, you remember I had a killer headache, right? Apparently, I gained the ability to swap anything with anyone as long as I have their permission."
"That's kind of unbelievable, did you already prove it though?"
"I assisted him and I can say for sure that it works." Stephanie interfered.
Alex continued, "So that would mean that I can swap ANYTHING with you as long as I have permission for it?"
"Yes, that is correct." Evan nodded.
"Then what did you two swap? I don't recognize anything different about you two unless you already swapped back."
"Tell or don't tell." This thought was stuck in Evan's mind whether to trick her or not.
Stephanie stepped in and said that they haven't swapped back yet. Alex was even more confused by this.
"Evan forgot to tell you that, those not included in the swap will not realize the difference and will think that everything is normal." Stephanie explained.
"As long as I will it for them to be aware." Evan added.
"So, what did you two swap?" Alex asked.
"We swapped schools so that I would go to high school instead of Evan." Stephanie told her.
"I see." Alex could understand a bit from their explanation and decided to include herself in the swaps as well.
"Since Alex hasn't experienced or seen a swap before, I suggest that she decides what to swap and who swaps with who." Stephanie suggested.
"Hmm..." Alex said, putting a finger on her forehead. "Alright, I want......"   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
