Stephanie and Evan see what other skills swapped

With all the belongings related with their newfound skills swapped, Stephanie and Evan could piece together their new skills. But what they found was there is a difference between skills and preferences and knowledge. The simplest example of this was that Evan now possessed all of his sister's knowledge and skills for applying makeup and selecting an outfit. (The knowledge was sometimes transferred with the skills.) But with a decade of applying makeup practice in his head, that didn't mean he wanted to wear makeup. Stephanie likewise had all of Evan's skills when it came to playing baseball, but she didn't want to play it anymore than she had before.

When it came to more 'asexual' activities like painting or video games. Evan still loved to play video games, he just wasn't any good at them now. Not that with some practice he could become as good as Stephanie's video game potential. As for art, now that Evan knew much more about it, he could appreciate painting much more than he ever had before.

Likewise, Stephanie didn't have the knowledge or practical experience of all the years she painted, but that didn't mean she didn't have Evan's undeveloped drawing ability. She could exploit it (with her inherit artistic preference) to make beautiful pieces with a little practice. Although her artistic style had changed. She also found that video games were fun now that she had been exposed to them. It might not be the first thing she would like to do, but that didn't mean she would avoid them entirely.

What the swap had done was given the siblings more in common as their preferences and skills became intertwined. Each's preferences becoming more like the other as each realized their new skill set. The one thing that they both purposefully avoided thinking about was sex. They didn't know if sex was a 'skill.' Their preference for the opposite sex didn't change, but did their 'skill at having sex' change. Neither knew and neither really wanted to know.
