"Let's try swapping hair," Amy suggested. "That's something simple to start us off."
"Okay," Evan said. He was glad that Amy picked something simple to start. "I guess I just need to focus on making the swap?"
"If it actually works," Amy said, laughing.
"Let's find out." Evan focused, and suddenly he saw Amy's hair becoming shorter and darker, forming into his short brown hair. Meanwhile, Evan's own hair grew out and became lighter, forming into his girlfriend's long blonde ponytail.
Amy's jaw dropped. "This is amazing!" she gasped. "I did not think that this would work."
"Yeah, I'm a bit surprised myself," Evan said, tugging on his new ponytail. "This is weird."
"Yeah," Amy agreed, running her fingers through her new short hair. "Let's swap back."
Evan focused hard, and then their hair was back to normal. "Now what?" he asked.
"Well, let's try swapping something else now that we know it works," Amy said.
It was at this moment that Melanie burst into the room. "What are you two talking about?" she asked.
"Nothing," Amy told her younger sister. "Now, get outta here, Mel."
"You're a terrible liar, Amy," Melanie replied. "I heard you talking," she continued.
Amy sighed. "Alright, fine," she said. "Evan, tell her,"
Evan explained the dream and his power, and he and Amy demonstrated the hair swap they had done again to show her.
"Wow, this is amazing!" Melanie said. She looked excited.
"Yup," Amy said as Evan reversed the swap again.
"Can I swap something?" Melanie asked.
"Depends on what it is," Evan said.
"Hmm," Melanie said. "I want ..."
