Evan headed upstairs to Amy's room, deciding that he'd rather not involve Melanie at all. When he got to the top of the stairs, Evan walked down the hall and into his girlfriend's room. She lay on her bed, browsing the web on her laptop.
"Hey you," Amy said when she saw Evan. She hopped up off the bed and walked over to her boyfriend, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Hi, babe," Evan replied, giving her a big hug.
"Feeling better?" she asked, stepping back and putting a hand on her hip. She was wearing a denim miniskirt and a cute sleeveless blue top. Her long blonde hair was pulled into a loose ponytail over her shoulder.
"Yeah," Evan told her. "Headache's mostly gone, but I've got something to tell you."
"Oh?" Amy asked, sounding quite curious. "What is it?"
"Well, I had this weird dream last night. I mean, a really weird dream."
"What was it about?"
"So, in the dream, I heard this voice tell me that I have the power to swap traits between myself and another person, as long as they are willing. I know it sounds crazy, but I woke up with that headache and all my energy felt drained, and I think I really do have this power."
"But that would be impossible."
"I know, but it can't hurt to try, right?"
Amy laughed. "You've got a point there. I guess there's only one way to find out."
"Exactly. I think we should try swapping something to see if it works."
"Sounds good to me," Amy agreed.
"Alright, what should we swap?" Evan asked his girlfriend.
Amy thought about it for a few moments before suggesting that they swap ...
