"Let's do something simple," Anna suggested. "Let's switch our hair." Anna mussed the hair on her head as she said this.
"OK," Evan said. "I'll give it a try." Evan wasn't quite sure what to do so he tried simply concentrating. Soon he felt his hair change and saw the blond locks pop down to his shoulders. Evan rolled the pink and black tips in his fingers. He then gave his longer hair a good tug to make sure it was really his. "Ouch"
"Wow!" Anna exclaimed. "It worked. This is kind of cool. And you look hilarious."
Just then Anna's mom came out. "Anna, you are supposed to be resting," she said. She didn't seem to notice the hair swap at all.
"OK Mom," Anna replied. "I just needed some fresh air, I'll be in soon."
"OK honey," she replied before going back in.
After she did Anna giggled. "She didn't notice at all, this is great. Let's do it again."
"I guess," Evan replied. "But don't you have to go back in soon?"
"Yeah, but my mom won't notice. I want to see more about how your power works."
