Bidding

These are the rules for this magic deck you have discovered. Each player is dealt an amount of cards that is to be determined by the group that is playing. Then you will take the remaining cards and place them in a deck in the center and take turns with one person flipping over the card where you will find that it has changed into a trait. How does the ordinary card change from a leftover card in the deck to a new card you might ask? Magic! After the trait has been revealed you may begin the fun part of the game, bidding on it. All players place one card from their hands face down and reveal all at once. The Player that has the highest card wins with the Highest card being an Ace and the lowest being a 2. The winner gets control over that trait for all the players until either the next game or when it is agreed upon to end the session at which point all players will return to normal. If two players bid with the same value card then it is a draw and they both gain control over the trait for the allotted time.

As a few additional rules and notes. The minimum amount of time for a session is 48 hours with the maximum being forever. Reality will adjust so that people will not notice any difference unless the person in control of the trait wills it to be that way and the person they are changing consents to it. So a person with blonde hair will still be seen as a blonde unless it is made for people to see otherwise. Also if you feel you would want to play extra rounds just reshuffle the deck and deal out more cards but remember not to shuffle your winnings into the deck. Remember everything is reversible and everything can be changed so enjoy this marvelous deck.

"Alright then kids now that we've had our recap the question is do we want to play our first game now or wait till we get to our first destination however far away that is." Mom said knowing what the answer would be.

"Now!!!!" the kids shouted in unison. They had been waiting all year in anticipation and weren't waiting any longer. The game was interesting in that you had power over the other members of the game for a few days but at the same time they would have power over you. Though if you were ever unlucky enough to no have a good game and wind up with no traits or only a silly trait like shoe color you could bet on being the guinea pig for that leg of the trip. That was Mark at one point in the trip while Erin had the power over height. He spent a good amount of time as a 3 foot midget while Erin made herself a 10 foot amazon.

"Well then without further ado let the game begin." Mary said as she flipped the first card.
