"Gavin, I don't think I want to be alone tonight." Mikki says. You turn your body to face Mikki, who is carrying her head by resting her hand under the stump & clutching it to her chest. Though she still has control of her body, she has a worried expression on her face.
"Me neither. Who knows what might happen to us next. We need to stay together." You agree. Thankful that you won't leave her on her own, Mikki takes hold of her head with both hands and extends her arms out towards you, her lips puckering up. You accept Mikki's offer and hold your head out in front of your body. Your heads meet in the middle for a quick kiss before getting on your way.
As the two of you continue walking in the direction of Mikki's house, you suddenly feel the grip of your arm loosen, causing your head to fall to the ground. The initial thud hurts for a little while, but quickly fades.
"Are you okay?" Mikki asks, concerned.
As you make your body kneel down to pick up your head, you notice that your right hand is moving on its own. It flexes its fingers, in spite of your commands.
"I'm fine, but I think my body is trying to resist control. My hand is moving on its own." You tell Mikki.
Deciding to pick your head up with your other hand, you concentrate for a few moments. Within a few seconds, your hand stops flexing and you regain control.
"It looks like we'll need to be careful if we want to stay in control of our bodies." you warn Mikki.
About 10 minutes later, the two of you reach Mikki's house and head inside. From there, you try to put together a plan for what to do next.
