When Rarity first met Fancy Pants, she was staying in a suite in the royal palace and even that room was not as luxurious as this one. On the pearly white marble walls hung paintings from famous artists and the bed was made with the finest silk sheets in all of Equestria. Fancy Pants butler noticed Raritys flabbergasted expression. "While princess Celestia values moderation, master Fancy Pants always makes sure that his guests only receive the best." He explained to Rarity, who was standing in front of a large, ornate mirror. "Very well then Ms. Rarity, I will notify you when the dinner begins."
Rarity spent the rest of the day exploring the mansion. Even though Fancy Pants appreciated 'charmingly rustic' things he was still living in luxury, everything looked as if it belonged in the royal palace. Rarity wandered the halls for a few hours before retiring to her room. She took a little nap before a knock on her door woke her up again, it was the butler that led her to her room. "Ms. Rarity, it's almost time for the dinner party."
After hearing that, Rarity checked herself in the mirror one last time and hurried down to the dining hall. The dining hall was already filled with several ponies, all of them the elite of Canterlot. Despite what happened at the garden party last time, all of them seemed happy to see Rarity again and greeted her cheerfully. Fancy Pants motioned to a free seat next to him and Rarity sat down. "It is quite nice to have you here tonight Rarity, I promise you that you have never tasted anything like the meal served this evening." Some of the ponies chuckled a bit at this, Rarity wondered why. "Now, it is very important that you keep what's happening at this dinner party a secret, we all dearly value our privacy." He said and soon enough some servants came in with heavy plates. The plates were very large and had a cover on them, the smell was delicious but Rarity couldn't identify what it was.
One of the servants placed a plate right in front of her and removed the cover. Rarity was shocked at what she saw.
