Yamaw says, 'So.. What do you choose?'. You look away and bite your lip softly, 'M-make me a draconic skeletal arm..'. 'Are you sure that you want such? Given how your arm is, i would have no other choices but to actually amputate the rest of your arm. The point of an arm is to be able to use it, like it is part of your body. We could always undo it and fleshcraft you an arm, but that would be only a waste.'. 'Y-yeah.. I accept.'. You pull the floaty sleeve over from your stub, showing it, ready for being taken off. The professor giggles and taps you gently on the head, 'No need to be so hasty..'. 'E-eh..?'. 'I see that you've made your choice, but before we do something stupid, let's *at least* pick what would be your new member, okay, cutie?~'. 'S-sure..!'.
The professor leads you toward one of the crypts, 'Know that they is actually more crypts than needed, for educational reasons. We are keeping them organized in a manner that would imitate what would potentially occur in reality. After all, in the midst of a fight, or depending in the situation, you might be forced to adapt.'. 'W-why are you saying me that..?'. 'Don't mind it too much, the other students are being told that too. It allows us to cultivate a certain spirit of initiative.'. 'R-right..'. 'Heh. Don't worry. You'll get over it.'.
You are lead toward one of the crypts and lead inside. And two things surprise you: No particular smell wafted from it. And it was full of a mishmash of bones of all kind, scattered in a completely random manner. Yamaw says, 'Here we are! I'll let you rummage around a bit, to see how you fare.'. You grumble. You could barely know what bone *might go onto* but you couldn't tell the difference most of the time. Carefully, you search, through the mass. Cautiously given you know that the precarious structures might crumble away, and that some of the bones are potentially sharp, like ribs.
After some tedious attempt of getting the bones you wanted, you ended up with a pile of bones, unaware of what you picked, excluding a draconian skull in perfect shape, and a large claw. Or teeth. You couldn't tell.. Then, you show off your 'findings' to Yamaw, which laughs. 'Heh. I guessed as much. Doesn't matter as of yet, but you've.. Completely failed. None of thoses bones, excluding the skull, are even remotely close to lizards.'. She weaves with her hands, and pulls all your findings, aside from the claw(or teeth) and the skull, back in the pile, before she pulls off more bones.
Then, Yamaw says, 'Brace yourself..'. 'W-why-..!?'. She suddenly grabs your stub, through the fabric of your robe, and forcibly fleshcraft it, making your shoulder explode. The pain sent you reeling, as you hold your bloodied remainings of where stood your shoulder. Yamaw giggles, 'Oops. Too strong. My bad.~ Now, let me make your new arm..'. She grabs the bones, one by one, and builds up the arm, with an assured hand, infusing some necromantic mana into it to keep it whole, ending up by fleshcrafting our new shoulder, attaching the new member to your skeleton, rather painfully, as you urk.
Yamaw says, 'Thereee.. Try to move it.'. You tentatively do so and.. Notice it feels almost natural, like you were born with it. The bone arm, much like Yamaw's, had a hand ending in three claws, but unlike her, you had the feeling you could still use to hold things and do similar actions.. Noticing that you still had the claw thing and the skull, you ask, 'Can i try to.. Use thoses?'. 'Sure thing!'.
You start with the claw, holding it with your skeletal hand, and holds it onto the back of your hand. Trying to imitate Yamaw, you channel some mana into the bone and where it stands, painfully forcing the base of the teeth to dig into your flesh, fusing it up with the bones of your hands, before you repair your skin up, as best as you can. You move your hand around, playing with your fingers, happy with your work. Then, you pick the skull. Not wanting to tempt your luck by changing your own human skull, you first separate the draconic skull in two, in the middle of the maw into two horizontal parts. Then, you place the parts around your head, modifying them so it'd fit, before fusing both part in a helmet.
Patiently looking, Yamaw finally says, after you finish your work, 'Interesting work. Just be careful with your new hands. Now, let's head back in the classroom. The students probably made their picks by now.'. 'Yes, miss!'. 'Just call me Professor Lizard arm..~'. 'O-okay Professor Lizard arm..'.
