You think about exploring the castle, going to class would remind you too much about Vadicus. No way, you would go there. Being in your room would also be good, but too risky someone might catch you. No, going through the castle would look like you have important business and people wouldn't disturb you.
You set out through the castle, it's a pretty big one, magically enhanced. You don't see the reason why they couldn't just build it bigger. The castle is build on an ancient pool of magic, the place just glows of magic, allowing students to tap even deeper into their magic. But it wasn't the safest place always outside and inside. Outside the school lies a big forest, and if you don't know the location of the castle you are forever lost in there, captured by one of the creatures who live there or you might end where you once began for the lucky ones.
Inside the castle it wasn't that safe either, who would ever think otherwise with so many students roaming around. Lucky most of the incidents were not that big, some bruises or in your case your head being plunged. Although it hadn't been this way always, from the seniors you've heard the ghost stories of students who wander around the castle at night and the next day they are found they are lying on the ground with just a smile on their face, their soul been ripped out from their bodies.
A bit of hogwash you think , that would never happen. Unless.... You wake up from your thoughts. You are in front of a couple of stairs, one going up and the other going down. The stairs that go up, are to the girl's dormitory. You haven't been there but now would be a good time to try it. The stairs going down are the ones leading to the dungeon, the deepest parts of the castle. Not many people go there, at least not without a good reason. You remember Vadicus bragging to his friends going there once. You're really in a mood to show him that you have more guts to go there at once. Which way should you go?
