Five Order Artifacts and Items

    by: Yote Author IconMail Icon
Work in progress

Crimson Order
Lair - A hidden place where crimson practitioners can replenish their essence and practice their craft. Subterranean, illuminated by ever-burning chunks of brimstone,
Flesh loom - There is a flesh loom at the heart of every lair. It's an ornate round basin set into the ground. Cloudy water laps at the rim. After making an offering of essence and writing their wishes in the demon tongue, the supplicant lowers their body into the pool, where great clawed hands unravel its form. Weak mortals are sometimes overwhelmed by the unearthly sensations, lose their grip, plunge into the depths and are incorporated into the loom's hideous crafts.

Golden Order
Philosopher's Stones - Three in existence. The stones are the mortal remains of the three greatest gold wizards to ever live. They will transmute anything that contacts them into pure gold. This transmutation is irreversible and undetectable, and the forgery is perfect, which differs from all other means of gold transmutation, which will invariably revert after a few hours.
The stone's will augment a gold order wizard's power five- fold and are the order's items of office, wielded only by the magi. Since their theft by Goblins, the power of the gold order has been greatly diminished.

Jade Order

Grey Order

Light Order
Soulstones - refined, purified obsidian. These chunks of translucent, pearly rock can hold a soul and, unlike unpurified obsidian, release it again. Once inside a soulstone, a soul may be given a new body to inhabit or used as a source of power.
