Chapter #4

Monday...9:00 AM...Fuck.

Tom's body froze and his mind filled with dread as he saw the date. It was Monday...fucking Monday.

...which meant he had to go back to school again...

...and it also meant that he would be counting the days until the weekend again...

...well, fuck.

Groaning to himself, he laid flat against his bed and smothered a pillow over his head, not wanting to think about the day and furthermore, the days he had to look towards. Mondays should be banned...seriously, it was a heart attack towards people like him who had to go to school.

"Tom! Get up! It's time to go to school!"

The voice could only belong to his fraternal twin sister, Tina. She of course, got up early unlike him. He didn't feel like that was something to be proud of. If his sister wanted to be Mr. Monday's pet, then by all means, but don't bring the brother into it.

"God, you're always like this when it's Monday! I'm coming in," she declared and then opened your door. There she saw him cuddled up in a blanket with a pillow over his head. She shook her head and sighed. She knew the drill and what to do. Slowly she grabbed the blankets that was covering him. Tom quickly held on to the blanket as if it was his dear life.

"My sweet, sweet sister. Please be reasonable to a fellow rebel of Monday...at the very least...five minutes..." Tom pleaded underneath his pillow.

Tina narrowed her eyes and the sighed. "Fine...I'll give you five minutes, but if you aren't ready, then I promise I'll kick your ass!"

"Understood fellow pet of Monday," Tom replied jokingly.

Tina didn't seem to be impressed with his antics as she groaned and rolled her eyes. Thankfully, she left his room but he knew that she would keep her word which meant he was in deep shit if he wasn't up in five minutes.

Though he loved his sister, he sometimes wondered what demonic world she came from.

Oh yeah...Monday.

Groggily, he relented the comfort of his bed and slowly rose out of his sheets. He shouldn't have said five minutes...really, that wasn't a lot of time. Although, he wasn't sure if his sister would take too kindly to anything more than five minutes.

Mumbling, he slowly shifted his feet against the carpet of his room and out into the hallways of their house. He did the usual hygienic tasks he had to do in the morning, each minute becoming more and more aware and less sleepy.

When he went to the kitchen, he saw his sister smirking at him, happy to see that he listened to her...that little, sweet demon. He also saw his lovely anti-aging mom cooking up some eggs, presumably for him considering his sister was almost finished with his breakfast.

"Good morning, mom," he greeted.

His mother looked behind her as she flipped an egg. A warm smile came to her face. "Morning sweetie. Did you have a good rest and dream?"

He blinked, once again reminded of his mother and the womb. Quickly shuttering it out of his mind, he just shrugged which basically meant no and yes. He then heard his sister groan.

"Great, now I have to wait for you," his sister groaned.

Tom grinned. "Because I'm adorable, aren't I?"

His sister didn't say anything and just rolled her eyes. Since Tom didn't want to get punched, he figured that he would stop messing with his sister. It was only fair though...as an ally to Monday and an enemy to his.

His mother finished cooking the egg and set a plate out for him to eat with a simple over easy egg and some toast. He wasted no time in digging in while his sister watched between him and the clock.

When he finally finished eating the egg, Tina wasted no time as she grabbed her brother's wrist and pulled him off his chair. "Come on, we don't want to be late!"

Tom sighed but didn't resist realizing it would be pointless to go against rushing. She was always like this in the morning. Probably because she had friends that she wanted to catch up with. As for you, your friends never came early. They took their time which was how you were wanting to do...that is, until your sister came.

Linda watched as her daughter and son left quickly in a rush..or rather, her daughter was in the rushing mood. She waved them away until the front door shut and locked. She then sighed and put an hand to her cheek.

"They grow up so fast...I can't believe they're both turning eighteen in a month!"

She frowned, feeling some disappointment. "It feels as if they were in my womb yesterday..."

You have the following choices:

1. Follow Tina and Tom on their way to school.

2. Follow Linda.

3. Something else.
