Jimmy Smith was well into his 4-hour shift at the radio station, playing the mix of 80s and 90s dance music that he was known for. In fact, he'd become to be known as DJ Synth for his love of electronic music of the era. His job wasn't terribly hard, he had to admit, especially because he loved to see what kind of playlists he could create.
It was while he was playing an extended mix of Animotion's 1987 hit "Obsession" that he heard a knock on the door to the booth. Sliding his chair over to door, he saw it was Jason, the receptionist. Jason was a dish, a gym-bunny with pumped muscles and a tight wardrobe. Today, he was wearing a pink muscle shirt and a pair of unbelievably tight jeans. In his hands, he held a small, bulging envelope.
"Hey, Synth," Jason said. "This package arrived for you today. No idea who sent it." Jason handed Jimmy the envelope, and sure enough, there was no return address. The send-to address had been typed in an old-looking, formal font.
"Thanks, Jason," Jimmy said, curiously turning the envelope over in his hands. "Here's hoping it isn't explosive."
Both of them laughed a little before Jason went back to the front desk. Closing the door, Jimmy slid over to his computer quickly to cue up the next song before turning his attention back to the envelope. Carefully tearing it open, he found a single, red USB drive with a note attached: PLAY ME.
