Jason sat and contemplated what he would like to do as earth's newest god. "I should test it," he spoke to himself, "Maybe at the park, a lot of people and things to practice on."
He walked down the stairs, and started putting on his shoes, when his mother noticed, "Jason, where are you going?" she asked with a motherly concern who her ten year old just walked out.
"I'm going to the park," He said optimistically, putting on his coat. "No, Jason. You can't go by your self, it a long walk and it could be dangerous, and I can't go with you as I have a lot of work to do, and no one else is here," she stated, as everyone else was out.
Jason, was quiet reasonable for a child his age, but having god like powers, he decided he should have his own way, and now was a good chance, "Mom, I'm fine to come and go when ever I want," Jason stated, as his mother had a dazed look as he had changed reality to allow him to go where ever he wanted when he pleased, and everyone thought this was normal, but Jason wasn't quite finished yet, "But remember, you have to go with me, or at least ask my permission if you want to leave the house," he said, giving his mother the restrictions he used to have.
Feeling that this was enough, he left his mother out of his mind controlling grip, and restarted the conversation from where it was, "Jason, where are you going?" she asked, but this time, with a casual curiosity. "I'm going to the park."
"Okay, have a good time," Jason struggled to contain his laughter at her change in attitude, "And Jason, can I go over to Joanne's tonight?"
Jason nodded, "Thank you," she said continuing with her duties.
