Chapter #4

Stayed at Phoebe's place

by: The Warden Author IconMail Icon
I thought about it for a minute. "I don't know, I'm a bit on the lazy side today, and didn't plan on going that far, so unless you really wanted to go out today, why don't we just stay here."

"You? Lazy? Naaaaah." She joked as she pinched my side, and made me giggle. "Nah, if you wanna stay here, that's perfectly fine with me. There's plenty of things to do around here. Besides, I did want to hang out alone, and what's more alone than the privacy of your own home? Why don't you stay down here, and get comfortable while I go upstairs, and get some stuff for hanging out here. Movies, board games, that sort of thing."

"Are you sure? I can come with you, and help you carry some stuff."

"No, that's okay. It'll ruin the surprise if you do that." I tilted my head. Surprise? She giggled at my confusion. "I'm sure you're curious as to why I've been so pushy about hanging out alone lately. Well it's a surprise. One that'll be ruined if you come up and help. So you just finish your juice, grab a snack if you want, and sit down on the couch when you're done. Alright?"

"Alright. If you insist, but this surprise better be a good one."

"Don't worry about it. You'll love it. Promise." Then she walked off, squeezing my hip, and making me squeal quietly as she went.

As I subtly watched her hips sway slightly as he she walked away, I briefly wondered if this surprise of hers was at all tickle related. She seemed a bit more tickly than normal, and it wasn't as if my fascination with it was a secret. In fact, it was probably the most well known factoids about me. Meanwhile, I had no idea where she stood on the subject. She wasn't totally adverse to it, as she had just shown, but it had somehow never been talked about, and I had never had much opportunity to even figure out how ticklish she even was.

Downing my juice quickly, I slipped off my sandals in the corner with the others shoes before walking into the living room, and plopping myself back down on her couch, still wondering on where Phoebe stood on tickling. Most likely, she was a casual enjoyer it. Enjoying dishing out or receiving brief tickles that last a few seconds, and even the occasional tickle fight. Of course, now that I thought about it, she seemed to avoid the subject. While we had never discussed it, she had been witness to me talking about it with other people, and never commented. Sometimes, she even changed the subject. This made me briefly consider the possibility that maybe she hated it. I dismissed the thought quickly. I had tickled her in the past, and she definitely didn't hate it. Of course, there was another possibility, a wonderful possibility, as to why she would avoid it. She could actually love it like I did. People often hid their fascination with tickling for fear of being judged.

Suddenly, I was broken out of my thoughts by manicured nails skittering across my soles, causing me to let out a quiet, but quite unmasculine shriek. "Well. That was certainly amusing." Phoebe snickered. "What were you thinking about that distracted you that much?"

What your stance on tickling is? I don't think so. "My surprise of course. I'm curious as to what it is."

She smiled warmly at me. "Patience. You'll find out soon enough. Anyway, I brought down a couple things that we could do."

"Alright, shoot." She pulled over a box and a movie case.

"The first thing we could do is watch this movie. Don't worry, it's not a chick flick. At least, I don't think it is. It's called 'Your Adventure In Ancient Greece'".

"Sounds like a documentary."

"Right? Supposedly it's a really good adventure movie though. The second thing we could do is play this weird board game that I found at a garage sale. 'Pero Veselo'"

I cocked my head. "Is that Russian?"

"Heck if I know. So what's it gonna be?"

You have the following choices:

1. Your Adventure In Ancient Greece

*Noteb*
2. Pero Veselo

3. Create a new option. Tickle fight!

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
