"Someone stole my clothes while I was getting my massage, and you've all been telling me there's nothing you can do!"
Yuki frowned. "That doesn't seem right..."
The client huffed. "Of course it isn't right! I get my property stolen from me on your watch, and what am I expected to do? Why, just walk out the door, as naked as the day I was born! This is an absolute outrage and I..." Yuki drowned the woman out and went over to the masseuse, who had retreated to a corner of the room. Margaret was her name, a normally friendly, if quiet, girl. Except now, she was looking close to tears.
"Margaret, what happened?" Yuki questioned softly. "I mean, I don't see the customer's clothes any where, but no one should have been in here except you and her, right?"
The shaking girl gulped. "There wasn't anyone else in here! I don't know where they could have gone. I mean," Margaret looked down, not meeting Yuki's eyes, "I may have stepped out to grab some lotion at some point. But I'm sure I closed the door!" Margaret frowned. "I mean, I think I did..."
Yuki sighed. Incidents like this had become common over the past few months. Clients and employees were often finding themselves stuck without clothes, and no one knew why. Worse yet, the spa was starting to build a reputation; for some reason, the name E&F was becoming synonymous with ladies losing their clothes!
"--are you even listening to me? I swear!"
Yuki shook her head, tuning back in to the voice of the angry customer. "I'm very sorry ma'am, but I don't know what happened."
"Never mind what happened! Tell me what you're going to do about it!" As Yuki opened her mouth to make a suggestion, the woman cut her off. "You know what, no, I'll tell you what you're going to do!"
