You human Luke leaves the garage, and heads upstairs to your bedroom. You can hear every step he takes perfectly, no matter how far away he is in the house. As soon as you hear your bedroom door close, you dart into the house to find the first person you can.
"Hey buddy, what are you so excited about?" Erika asks you as you run up to her. She looks very different from below, and with all of her washed out. You almost don't even recognize her. She rubs a hand on your head, and starts scratching and it feels AMAZING.
As much as you wanted to relish in the most affection your sister had given you in your entire life, you know you don't have much time. You hop excitedly, and gesture for Erika to follow you, which she does. You lead her into the garage, and without any additional prodding, Erika walks toward one of the pods.
Erika opens the door, and cautiously sticks her head inside. "What has my dork-"
Before she can even finish that thought, you launch your dog body into the machine and smash the activation button, initiating the transfer. You're bathed in light, and your senses momentarily slip and the machine's power washes over you.
You were so confident this would work, you didn't consider that the machine had malfunctioned before, and may malfunction again. A few moments later, it's over. Whose body are you in?
