Gerald awakes up in the night with a strange tingling in his hand. Sleeping next to his wife her arm draped over him. He tries to slip out of bed trying to not wake his wife. He guides her arm softly to the bed as he makes his way to the bathroom. Gerald hears his wife stir as he shuts the door and turns on the light in the bathroom. Gerald quickly peals the bandages from his hand as the tingling spreads through his whole body.
Tammy calls out, "Are you okay honey? Your hand isn't bothering you is it? I can throw on some clothes and take you to the hospital."
Gerald says, "I think the bandages were a little tight and are itching." He hopes to allay some of her fears as the hair on hand begins to disappear. Tammy opens the door to make sure everything is okay and finds herself eye to eye with Gerald who is now her height maybe a little shorter. Gerald stares bewildered at his wife as he shrinks to barely above Tammy's waist. Hair began to pour from his head passing his shoulders forming a hood around his head. Gerald pulled back the hair so he could see. When he pulled back the hair the face of a little girl revealed itself. Tammy stared in horror at what had become of her once manly husband.
She timidly asked the little girl before her, "What just happened?" Tammy grabbed a scrunchie from a drawer in the bathroom cabinet she quickly grabbed up Gerald's long hair and fixed it into a pony tail.
"I don't know honey, I am just as lost as you are. I have never heard of anything like this before. I know a doctor can't help me though. I guess we should check online and see if anyone has heard of this." Gerald spoke in a little girls voice which sounded natural coming from the child's body. The disturbing part knowing that it should be an adult man speaking.
"My friend Maxine dabbles who does some occult stuff. I can try to get a hold of her. I just worry that it will be hard to convince someone. I think we should start fresh in the morning. I can pick up some clothes for you tomorrow because nothing we have will fit. Your t-shirt now fits like a night shirt now. You know you do look cute though." Tammy pulled you in for a hug.
"Thank you for that, I have been worried about that. I kind of want to jump on the computer but I understand what you mean I am exhausted. A fresh start sounds best we'll get started in the morning, I hope I don't have any further changes though. You aren't ready to take of a baby. I am not prepared for you to be my mommy. I will love you through anything though beautiful." Gerald spoke with a smile. He wanted to reassure his wife.
Tammy returned Gerald's smile, "I would be a great mother and I think you would make an adorable baby. But seriously I love you and we will face this together."
