Melody finds herself now only four and half feet tall, and feels another shrinking spurt comin on.

"I'm sorry, Tom," Melody practically wails. "I don't think I can be alone with you. It just keeps on getting worse and worse."

Tom says, "Hang on a second," and then turns and locks the door. Melody drops do four foot while he does so.

"Now we can work this out interrupted," he remarks as Melody shrinks downs to three and a half feet. "Just take a deep breath and relax."

Melody does as Tom instructs and

1. returns to her normal height

2. remains three and half feet tall

3. continues shrinking down to six inches
