As they start to fall to sleep and finally relax from the tiring stressful day a loud shriek echoes across the forest immediately waking up. "What the hell was that!" Arianna demanded as she stood up from her tree.
"I thought it was an animal of some sort!" Ciara said as she slowly gained enough energy to stand up as well. The 15 year old had the energy of a little kid but when she is upset it drains it all away. She was terrified of the possibility her and her friends could meet a scary animal.
She tried to wipe the thought out of her head.
"It couldn't have been an animal," Victoria spoke up, "It sounded like a machine of some sort, I know it sounds bizarre but still!".
Arianna took in what Victoria had said. When she thought about it it did sound unaturual.
Ciara disagreed. "No it definitely sounded like an animal!" Ciara reluctantly said not wanting to admit she thought it was something different. "I'm scared!" Arianna broke out biting her nails. "We're gonna be fine! Don't listen to her, most likely it was a machine which means we arn't the only people on this island!!! That is great!" Victotia explained with enthusiasm.
Arianna began to cheer up as she nodded with certainty. Ciara wasn't gonnabargue with the girls as she had already denied the possibility once but she wasn't gonna follow them into a tiger or lion lair. "I'm sorry guys but I can't go, I'm to scared" Ciara sadly admitted sitting back against the tree.
"Don't worry! We will be fine!" Victoria said with a slightly annoyed. "Yeah, most likely there are people there that can help us!" Arianna added on trying desperately to keep the three together at all times.
"Still! We may stumble into trouble that could get us killed! Let's rest for the night and go out tomorrow morning at least that way we don't risk the chance of getting lost" Ciara shivered from the cold night breeze.
Arianna actually thought that was a good idea but knew Victoria wasn't gonna give into a 15 year old's plan. She saw annoyance in her eyes. "Fine you can stay and me and Arianna will go to find saftey, right Arianna" Victoria insisted.
