Eric couldn't wait to test out his newfound powers with his friends. As soon as he arrived at school, he searched for his best friend, Jason.
"Hey, Jason, check this out!" Eric exclaimed, holding up his hand.
With a quick flick of his wrist, Eric caused a gust of wind to blow through the hallway, ruffling Jason's hair and knocking a stack of papers off a nearby teacher's desk.
Jason's eyes widened in amazement. "Dude, how did you do that?" he asked.
Eric grinned. "I don't know, but I think I might be a god," he said.
Jason raised an eyebrow skeptically. "A god? You mean like Zeus or Thor?"
Eric shrugged. "I don't know, but I can do things that I never could before. Watch this."
With another wave of his hand, Eric caused a pencil to levitate in the air, just like he had done in his room earlier that morning.
Jason's mouth fell open in shock. "This is insane!" he said. "How did you get these powers?"
Eric explained the mysterious dream he had the night before, and how the figure claimed to be his ancestor from thousands of years ago.
Jason listened intently, fascinated by the idea that his friend might be a divine being.
"Okay, so if you're a god, what can you do?" Jason asked.
Eric thought for a moment before replying, "I don't know, but I feel like I can do anything I put my mind to. Maybe we can try some other stuff later?"
Jason nodded eagerly. "Yeah, let's do it! This is going to be awesome."
For the rest of the day, Eric experimented with his powers, causing small objects to move and levitate, and even making a stray paper airplane change direction in mid-flight.
It was an exhilarating feeling, knowing that he was capable of such amazing feats. Eric couldn't wait to explore the full extent of his powers and discover what else he was capable of. For the first time in his life, he felt truly special, truly different, and truly powerful.
As the afternoon wore on, Eric and his friends hung out on the playground, laughing and goofing off like they always did. Among them was Wes, a shy and diminutive boy who always seemed to be the target of the school bullies.
Eric had always felt sorry for Wes, but he never knew how to help him. However, now that he had his powers, he felt like he could make a real difference.
"Wes, what if I could make you bigger?" Eric asked, a mischievous glint in his eye.
Wes's eyes widened with excitement. "Really? You can do that?"
Eric nodded. "I think so. Let's give it a try."
With a deep breath, Eric focused his mind and summoned his powers. He closed his eyes and concentrated on Wes, willing him to grow and grow until he was bigger than any kid in school.
When Eric opened his eyes again, he was stunned by the sight before him. Wes had grown at least a foot taller, and his clothes were straining at the seams.
"Woah, Eric, you did it!" Wes exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear.
Eric couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and satisfaction. For once, he had used his powers to help someone else, and it felt amazing.
Wes wasted no time in showing off his newfound size to the other kids on the playground. At first, they laughed and jeered, but as Wes loomed over them, they quickly backed down, their bravado crumbling in the face of his immense stature.
Eric watched from the sidelines, feeling a sense of satisfaction as he saw Wes finally get the respect he deserved. For the first time in his life, Wes stood tall, both literally and figuratively, and it was all thanks to Eric and his incredible powers.
As the sun began to set and the other kids went home, Eric and Wes stayed behind on the playground, chatting and laughing like old friends. It was a new and exciting world for both of them, full of endless possibilities and incredible powers. Who knew what adventures they would have next?
