"Fine," Cameron answered. "Don't get your hopes up though, this won't actually work."
Christina ignored him and pulled out the lead tablet she had gotten from the antiques store. The middle-aged women who owned the store told her it was an actual ancient Greek curse tablet that could be used to compel the gods to perform an action on someone.
Christina had spent the last month reading up on Ancient Greek mysticism in order to use it properly. She went into her drawer and pulled out an ice pick she had saved just for this occasion.
Cameron snorted and smirked at her. "Are you gonna hypnotize me or practice your sculpting skills?"
Christina ignored Cameron's heckling and began to hammer at the tablet with the pick. "Hang on little bro, this will take a while!"
"Okay." Cameron said as he rolled his eyes.
Christina ignored Cameron's dismissiveness and focused on her inscription. "Great and Sacred Hecate, Honored Goddess of Witchcraft, Poison, and Ghosts, amongst other lofty titles, I beseech thee, grant me dominion over the heart and mind of Cameron Brewer, my brother. Allow me to demonstrate your might to him, so he may know your terrible glory."
As she finished and told Cameron to hold on, she went outside and buried the tablet as per the instructions. She went back to her room and saw Cameron sitting on her bed with his arms crossed. "Told you it wouldn't wor..." Suddenly, Cameron fell unconscious. Christina panicked for a minute and tried to wake him up when, suddenly, he woke up. He looked at Christina with a blank explanation. "What troubles you, Lady Christina?" He asked in a servile tone.
"It... Worked?" Christina said, her shock obvious.
"Do you need me to perform a task, m'lady?" Cameron asked.
