The two friends headed up to Jordyn's room, and fired up the Wii U that was hooked up to her TV. The played a few races, but, after a while, things started to get a bit competitive.
"Let's make a bet," Jordyn suggested.
"You're on!" Cameron agreed.
"Okay. Let's do another Grand Prix, 150cc, whoever loses has to do something the winner wants."
"Alright," Cameron said. "I can agree to that."
The two then jumped into the game, and Cameron got an early lead, winning the first race. Jordyn was right on his butt, though, coming in second. In the next race, things were reversed with Jordyn winning, and Cameron coming in third, having been hit with Jordyn's red shell right at the end. The third race played out like the first, with Cameron winning and Jordyn coming in second.
Going into the final race, it was more or less tied. If Cameron won, he'd have three first places and would win, and because he came in third in race two, Jordyn would win if she won this race. Jordyn was quick off the starting line, getting the boost while Cameron messed it up, but Cameron got some good items and was able to catch up. Cameron built up a good lead, but Jordyn managed to catch up and overtake him. Cameron then closed the gap, and the two were then neck and neck going into the finish line. Cameron was starting to pull ahead, but then Jordyn used a red shell she had been saving and took him out just before the finish.
"No, damn it!" Cam cried out as Jordyn passed him and won the race.
"Yes!" Jordyn cheered in victory. "Gotcha!"
"No fair," Cameron pouted.
"Hey, I won fair and square," said Jordyn. "Now you have to honor our bet."
"Okay, okay," Cameron said. "What do I have to do?"
"Hmm ... I know!" Jordyn said.
