Carlos Garcia loved a lot of things. He loved his friends, his dad, Mrs. Knight, Katie, the Jennifers, his helmet, Dinosaurs, Hide and Seek, Kelly, Singing, Hockey, Girls, Rides, Magazines, TV, Video Games, Cars, Palmwoods, the pool, music, and even Gustavo most of the time. He also loved food, corndogs and pudding in particular. You could get Carlos to do anything for a corndog or pudding cup (except hurt his friends, he wouldn't do that for all the corndogs in the world...well, if it was all of them, maybe. But otherwise, it aint happening!). With his trusty helmet and a corndog, he could do anything he put his mind to, like dig a tunnel to China or become a superhero. Well, maybe not that far, yet. He still had to work on that. But he wasn't stupid like everyone (Logan) says he is, he had good ideas just as much as the others. Logan was just a downer who said no to everything like him jumping out the window to land on a trampoline and do a perfect flip and cannonball into the pool with the most epic splash ever. Apparently it was too "dangerous". Logan needed to learn to live a little.
But that day, Carlos was bored and didn't want to do anything. Completely devoid of ideas, he loafed in the apartment wondering what to do. The others were all busy. Kendall was on a date with Jo, James was on a date with some random chick, Logan was building a science project, and he was left all alone with nothing to do. Even Mrs. Knight and Katie were busy, Mrs. K with errands and Katie busy cleaning suckers of their money at poker since Mrs. K wasn't their to make sure she didn't. And Carlos couldn't bother Katie if he wanted to keep his corndogs. Katie threatened the corndogs if Carlos bothered her for stupid reasons which pretty much was everything but an emergency and even then, someone better be dying. So they were all out. The Jennifers were too busy doing girly stuff right now and they still did not forgive him for what happened at prom. So absolutely bored, he sat there.
He lasted for 3 minutes before twitching. Carlos was not made for patience and the absolute silence in the appartment was driving him insane. He had to do something, he just didn't know what. Absent-mindedly he wandered over to the refrigerator and looked for some eats and was quite pleased to find a large stash of pudding. Looking around guiltily, he takes most of it and hurries to the couch, pushing most of it under the table so no one who came in would see. Kendall, James, Logan, Mrs. Knight, and Katie were going to be gone for a little while but it was better to be safe and sorry. James and Kendall did not like anyone stealing their pudding cups, even though James always tried to steal his, and usually succeeded or guilt-tripped Carlos into handing it over. "Hah," he thought. "I've got your pudding now James."
Carlos turned on the tv looking for something to watch. He ended up watching a show about 4 teenage boys who want to be famous forming a boyband and were flown off to New York where they stay at this crazy hotel and pull a lot of pranks and sing and do awesome stuff. They even had a grumpy music director named Brock Hustovo who called the boys urchins. Carlos was amused by it because they were hilarious and reminded him a lot of them. Before he knew it, all the pudding cups, even the ones he had stashed under the seats was gone after watching a few episodes. Carlos had also leftover apple pie, the last few remaining slices of a pizza, three corndogs, and a scoop of icecream. Letting out a big burp, Carlos relaxed on the couch, belly comfortably stuffed. Running his hands over it lazily, he stops and looked down to see his stomach sticking out a little. Poking it, he burped again and shifted position. It was a weird experience and one that almost never happened to him before, at least that he could remember. Giggling as if he found a new trick, he started playing with his belly. This was actually very fun and it felt so good. He wondered why other people didn't do it. He would have to do this again sometime because it was so much fun.
