It was a week into Summer and already she had gained a couple of pounds and with no villains trying to take over the world, or do whatever they were trying to do she feared for her waistline. Then she remembered that she could always do some work on uncle Slim's ranch until the villains started up their villain spree. So she got on the phone with her uncle Slim and some talking with her parents she found herself at the gates of the ranch being greeted by her cousin Jocelyn and her uncle Slim.
"Hey little lady glad to have you around for a while right Joss," her Uncle said smiling down at his favorite niece. Joss on the other hand seemed fixated on Kim's midriff and had to force herself to answer the question.
"Yeah, it's great to see you again Kim," she hugged the older girl and rubbed Kim's stomach slightly shooting Kim a questioning glance. Kim grinned and nodded and then shot a look at uncle Slim and Joss nodded as well.
"Well I'll let you get settled in, suppers in an hour, oh and you'll be bunking with Joss if that's alright."
"Sure is Uncle Slim this little lady and I have some catching up to do." Kim said ruffling Joss's hair as the girl laughed and tried to fight off her taller cousin. Uncle Slim smiled and left them to it while Joss and Kim headed towards Kim's room. Joss trudged a little behind Kim and smiled at Kim's back. Joss still had a bit of hero worship that manifested as a slight crush on her older cousin and she was determined to help Kim in anyway possible while she was here.
