to head home

Sara had forgotten, today was a short day. Her mother would be coming to pick her up. She needed to go to the front of the school to wait.

As she stood there waiting, Sara thought about how her twins got into her belly. There was an older boy that nobody could see but her. She told him about her older sister, Jenny, having babies, and she wanted to have some of her own. The boy put a hand on her belly and inflated with twins. Afterwards, the boy disappeared, but not before telling her that the twins will only be born if she wills for them to.

The only people who knew the truth about her condition were her mother, sister, and friends. To everyone else, she was simply having stomach issues.

Sara’s twins kicked, making her smile. She hugged her partially exposed belly. “Don’t worry. Grandma’s coming.”

That was when….
