From being caught in Hogsmaid?

Harry was in the Three Broomsticks, having snuck in there with Ron and Hermione because his relatives wouldn't sign his permission slip.
Just then Hermione noticed some professors coming in the pub and not only that they were accompanied by the Minister of Magic!

Quick Harry, under the table!" Hermione said.
Harry ducked under quickly.  As he did a christmas tree floated in front of the table so all three of them were hidden from view.
Fudge began to speak.  "Bad buisness Hagrid, very bad buisness"
"Wha's that Minister?" Hagrid replied
"All this Black Buisness you know" Fudge muttered 
Harry's ears immediately perked

Harry listened as the conversation went on, but found himself distracted.... something snatching at his attention, picking away at his concentration.  He couldn't pick out what it was, but something was making it harder and harder to listen carefully to the conversation. He wanted to know everything that Fudge had to say, so he took a deep breath in to slow his heart rate and make it easier to listen, but he found himself drifting even further away from reality.  He glanced around to find the source of this diversion.
