At the end of a long, beautifully decorated hallway, Tyra and Myrrh reached a set of massive stone doors. These were made of stone and decorated with multi colored stones that seemed to randomly change color. As Tyra and Myrrh approached, they saw the image of a frightened little Misterian girl standing next to a nervous Misterian teenager. "What!?" asked Tyra, surprised by what she saw. "Who are they?"
"Us." blushing, Myrrh replied. "The doors show a reflection of how the person feels as they approach the chambers of our queen, our mother, Minerva."
"That's a little disturbing." unnerved, Tyra said. she made a face, seeing the reflection change from a teenager to a small, annoyed girl. "Hey!"
A womanly giggle was heard and the doors opened with a low rumble to reveal a tall slender woman who was a near mirror image of Myrrh and Tyra. She wore an elegant crown on her head and a long flowing dress with a long royal looking robe over it, she was quite beautiful. "Welcome, my daughters." she said with a rueful smile. "Please, enter so we may speak in private surroundings."
Myrrh nodded, though she seemed to feel like the child in the image. Tyra felt like an annoyed child, being talked to like one by her new mother. Upon entering Minerva's chambers, she waved her hand, causing the doors to close, shutting out the sounds from the hall and beyond. Now in the privacy of the silent room, Minerva first addressed Tyra.
"A human who is possessed by a demon becomes twice as strong." explaining, she said. "You would have defeated three of them with only your strength and skills if the one had not possessed a hand gun." she then smiled. "That was an impressive sight to behold."
"You-you saw that?" asked Tyra, feeling nervous.
Minerva nodded. "You see, although I trust Myrrh, she is my only daughter." she told Tyra. "I was about to intervene when you jumped in from nowhere and took on the possessed men alone. "You seemed to have been winning until..."
"I know." said Tyra, shedding a tear. "I got shot and woke up here."
Minerva nodded. "We were in your debt for saving my daughter's life, saving your life, making you my second daughter, was all I could to to repay that debt." sadly, she said. "Believe me when I tell you that Myrrh got the lecture of a lifetime while you slept."
"So what now... mom?" asked Tyra.
Minerva smiled. "No, Myrrh must repay her debt to you by helping you cope with and adjust to your new life as princess Tyra of Skyaira." she replied. "Myrrh is older so she is next in line for the throne, if she fails to prove herself worthy, the crown will be passed onto you."
Both Myrrh and Tyra winced. "Great." they both thought, sarcastically.
"We have years to worry about that though." motioning to some love seat type chairs. "I want to hear about your former life, Tyra. What your family is like, who your friends were, and so on."
"Why?" asked Tyra, confused.
Again Minerva smiled. "All that you were is also in who you are now." she explained. "Your past experiences as a human will only enhance your new life here. James is not dead, he just... changed."
