Gwen was lying on her couch watching TV. Then a news break came on. It said that a new disease has got loose from a top secret lab in Arizona. It is spreading like wild fire. The disease is not contagious and affects a few people. Gwen relaxed and then smelt something different.
“What is that smell?” Gwen said.
Then she felt something was coming from her belly. She felt a sharp, long pain acting up in her. Then her belly started to turn white and expand. She fell forward onto the floor and started to roll around. When the pain died off, she sat up and lifted up her shirt. She saw that her belly had turned white with black spots. She felt her belly and realized that it was fur.
“Fur and inflation. I guess I have been affected by the disease.”
Then Gwen’s belly stopped growing. She played with it a little bit and heard a swishing sound coming from in side. Then the news came back on. The disease is said to transform people into elephants, hippos, and cows. When Gwen heard that, she instantly knew she was becoming a cow. She got up and went up to her parent’s room. She woke up her mom and showed her what she is becoming.
“Gwen, your belly is…is…”
“Black and white. It is because of a new disease that escaped from a lab in Arizona and is affecting some people.” Gwen said.
“And you are one of them?” Her mom said.
“Apparently. They said that it turns people into an elephant, a hippo, or a cow. And I am turning into a cow.”
“If your turning into a cow, that means we could have fresh milk and you have to gain a lot of wait to produce the milk, have a healthy calf and eat a lot of food and drink a lot of water.”
Then Gwen went to her room and lay down onto her bed.
