Saturday comes, and after you get dressed, you make a three-way call with Chloe and Colin.
"You guys remember the plan?"
"Of course." says Colin.
"Are you sure this in gonna work?" asks Chloe.
"Mostly." you reply.
"Good enough for me." Colin says.
You hear Chloe sigh into the phone.
You had agreed to meet Ramona right out side her yard at 12:30. it was now 12:25, so you decide to get going. When you get to the meeting spot, you see Ramona leaving her house. "I'll be back, Mom!" she calls, looking back at the house. "And keep Roxanne out of my room!"
"Hey Ramona." you say.
"Hi," she says back. You could tell that her normal personality was back, hopefully your plan would work out. You and Ramona head of to the local diner, and you look around for a place to sit. While Ramona has her back turned, you quickly text Colin that you got to the diner. The plan was that Colin would show up fifteen minutes after you and Ramona arrived at the diner, then Chloe would show up ten minutes after that.
You and Ramona get seated, but it takes a while for the waitress to arrive.
"What's the deal with customer service? This is ridiculous." Ramona says.
"Trust me, it's no better on Earth." you say. Ramona laughs. "I didn't know that."
Right on cue, Colin shows up. "Hey, guys!" he says. "Hi, Colin." says Ramona. "Wanna join us." This took both you and Colin by surprise. Neither of you were expecting her to actually invite Colin to join you.
"Uh, sure." Colin says, going with the flow. "Mind if I sit next to you?"
"Not at all." she says. This was going better than expected. Ten minutes later, Chloe shows up. This was a major hurdle. You were afraid that Ramona wouldn't want to stick around if Chloe showed up. Fortunately takes a seat next to you and the four of you start talking. The waitress finally shows up and takes your orders, too. Everything was going so perfectly. Colin was even able to put his arm around Ramona without her objecting to it. Just then, somebody shows up that makes things difficult.
