Still finding it a little hard to believe what she was doing, Jessie looked around the beach. She was still amazed that no one seemed to be paying any attention to her. She wondered how long the feeling would last.
What should she do first?
A swim?
Not yet?
Work on her tan?
Not right now?
Go for a walk?

Jessie stood up. Without looking around, she walked down the beach, picking her way through the bodies that lay all around.
At one end of the beach was a small building that contained toilets, and another that sold snacks and drinks. She walked past them.
She didn't notice the small fence next to the buildings. She walked beyond it.
