"Sooo... I can swap everything that is not on the list...", Anna mumbled. "Should be something interesting and exciting, shouldn't it?". She had no plans at the beginning because she did not believe that the cards might actually work but now.
She was not sure what she should swap. She could go with something simple, sure, but why should she? She could swap the essentials of her life and experience something new, something completely difference. But still. Did she want that? Her life was fine, she was quite popular and had the best looking boyfriend you could find in this town.
Still there was something missing. She wanted to change something in her life but she did not know what it was. It's now that she realised that the feeling has been there for months if not years! But she does not know what it is she is missing.
"I have no idea what I want.", she said. "I always thought I knew but now... Now that I have the chance to change something I don't know what I should change... Everything is great for me but something is missing.".
Michael looked at his sister. He was surprised because of her reaction. He always thought everything was perfect for her and she was happy but apparently she was not.
"Well, maybe you need a change in your life. Experience something new.", he suggested. "Maybe you want to swap friends of some one here? Just to see some new people.".
Anna looked at her brother. He was right. The feeling was not that something was missing. She grew tired of it. She wanted something different.
"Okay then.", she finally spoke. "I want to swap friends with Josie.". Josie looked at Anna. "Why my friends?", she asked curious. She was not angry about it or anything like that, she was just curious.
"Just thought some other friends would be nice and I don't think I'd enjoy the time with the friends of the three male candidates at this table.", Anna began explaining. "Further, I think the young friends of dear Melody would be too... well you know. Annoying. The only one left who would have some decent female friends would be you.".
"And you're not allowed to swap my friends away.", corrected Melody Anna and pointed at the list.
Josie nodded. "I see. We should get together afterwards and try to introduce us our new friends via facebook.".
