The skies were as red as blood as a lone anthro Charmander ran through an expansive flatland with a panicked visage. His tattered royal blue cape swayed behind him as the source of his panic came into view for you - a Rhydon Guardian that was serving alongside seasoned Rhyperior veterans in the front line for the Royal Army of your castle town within Bulkhead Fort. There were hundreds of thousands of red gleams in the distance - a sure sign of a legion of the Infected. The Charmander that was in your sights looked back every ten seconds to see that the abundant group of assorted Venusaurs, Metagross, Sableyes, Gardevoirs, and Salamences were gaining on him. After a couple glances behind him, he turned around and started running backwards while he faced the oncoming horde and started shooting Ice Beams and Thunderbolts from his hands in an effort to subdue any Sableyes that got within his danger range. The Sableyes were immediately downed with each special attack, but they were still pouring out of the Infected front line in droves.
By this point, you had adjusted your Protector suit in preparation for the worst and prepared an Earthquake-inducing stomp while your commanding officer, an Aggron, yelled to you and the front line, "Guardians! On my mark!!" It was plainly visible to you that the uninfected Charmander was nowhere close to escaping the range of an Earthquake attack, and if all 100+ Guardians, yourself included, made a synchronized quake now, the earth beneath the Charmander's feet would become naught but dust, and he would have no chance of avoiding a fate that involved being swallowed up by the earth on which he was making his retreat. With that in mind, you were hesitant about following through with the order, especially when you were quite familiar with the flame lizard for whom you were a personal bodyguard before you were drafted back into the Guardians in preparation for this battle. Now you are presented with a choice... Do you follow the imminent order to make a localized continent-obliterating Earthquake to slow the advance of the Infected, or will you break off of the front line and risk your life in order to defend your former client?
