Chapter #6
Pulp Fiction
by: Unknown
Finally finding a good movie, Julie sat back and relaxed as the theme song of "Pulp Fiction" washed over her. She loved the tarantino movies and never missed a single one if she was free. As the music built in a crescendo and the openings credits ended, she moved forwards to the edge of her seat, rolling onto the ball of her feet. Reaching for her wine, she poured a generous amount into her glass and took a long sip, washing it around her mouth. She had a "cheap" taste in wine, preferring the aromas and sensual tastes of a 7$ bottle to a 40$ one. Hohever she wouldn't stoop as low as to buy cartons of wine. There are some things that a scientist simply should not do.
On the screen, Samuel L. Jackson continued to talk with his partner about giving his boss a foot massage. Julie winced as she thought about how good a foot massage would be as she watched the film.
She sat back into the seat again, letting her feet relax flat on the floor and raised her toes, trying to ease some of the tension she had built up over the week. I really need to get myself a new pair of shoes, those converse are killing me, she thought.
She scracthed at her leg with her left foot absent-mindedly as she followed the seemingly pointless movements of the movie.
