A magical animal stings/bites her

Fluttershy passed by a new bird and stared at it for a short second.
She didn't know much about this particular species, only that it was abundant far into the everfree forest.
The pegasus poured some bird seed into a nearby bowl, and all the birds in her cottage crowded around it, chirping loudly. Except for the new bird. She approached it with an outstretched hoof. "Come on, little birdie. You really should eat or you'll be hungry. Ow!"
The pony yelped in pain as the bird pecked her hoof, unbeknownst to Fluttershy having injected her with a minuscule amount of poison. "Ooh, don't do that. Wahh?" Fluttershy said in confusion as a change began to effect her body...
