Leroy sat down as this fancy lawyer said that he was a representative of his Uncle Mike's will. Despite being the brother to his asshole of a dad, Leroy always liked his uncle. And his uncle always liked him. Truth be told, he was a little jealous of how his uncle had seven wives.
"I was asked to read this only to you three." He opened his briefcase and took out a slip of paper.
"Joyce, I always hated what my brother did to you, you deserved better. I give to you ten thousand dollars. Hopefully, it'll help in some way."
Joyce couldn't comprehend what she'd just inherited. She actually needed a second to take it in.
When she was ready, the layer kept reading.
"Candice, I know you never liked my lifestyle, but I hope you never judged me for that. I give to you my wedding ring. Give it to the man, or woman, that makes you happy. Or you can sell it if you hate me that much." The lawyer took out a wedding band from his briefcase. It was made of pure platinum with a 4 carat diamond for decoration.
Candice was shocked at what she was looking at and was afraid to take it. When she did, she put it on the table, scared she might drop it.
Leroy looked at his mother and sister. With what they received, he was curious what his uncle left him.
"Leroy, whenever you visited, I saw a bit of myself in you. So I'm leaving you my favourite chess board, I know you'll treasure it ike I did." The lawyer took out a box and gave it to him, who felt a little cheated.
When the lawyer left, Leroy went to his room.
$10K, a platinum ring, and I get a chess board?! He thought to himself, still angry. He decided to open it up to see what it was like.
The board looked like a typical chess board, except for the mini keyboards and screens on either end. On the board itself was a not.
Leroy, I'm sure your feeling a little cheated from what I gave your mother and sister, but there's a reason for your gift.
This is a special Cheaters Chess board I had commissioned. Both players can type in a new rule for that specific game.
The best part is that you can be creative with the rule for more permanent effects. If you don't believe me, how do you think I got my wives?
Have fun, you perverted bastard.
"Hey, bro." Candice said, entering his room. "How're you doing?"
Leroy was careful to hide the note when he turned towards her. Thank goodness his back was to the door.
"I'm good. I was just thinking about Uncle Mike."
"Kinda sucks that he left you a chess board, isn't it?"
Not anymore. "I actually like playing chess with him. Would you mind if we played a game?"
Candice accept and Leroy told her how she could make a new rule for the game.
"I'm going to have it that pawns can capture foward," Candice said, a little annoyed, "I always got annoyed that they couldn't."
Leroy just smiled and typed in "When white pieces capture black pieces, the black player becomes more subservient and obedient to the white player." Hope you aren't fcuking with me, Unc. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
