"Let's check your head then," you said, "I want to check this melon that you mentioned."
"Great, just follow the lit path I made and you'll be there in no time," Jennifer giggled playfully.
You took the path that Jennifer has made the brightest and started ascending the passage way. The soft fleshy tunnel pulsated with each step you take. Within a couple minutes, you reached another large chamber that looks similar to the stomach but made entirely from hard solid bones.
There is a large mass of cartilaginous tissue that is shaped like a convex structure that stretches across the ceiling of the chamber. Clicking sounds and squeaks emanate from it at a large volume.
"Welcome to my melon, human," Jennifer soft voice greeted you, "But don't mistake my melon for some common fruit. To a whale, the melon is one of the most important organs in our body. It allows me to converse with other whales by amplifying my voice and also receives soundwaves made by other orcas. The sound created by my melon is used for echolocation which can be summarize as underwater navigation by sound alone."
"What else can it do?" you asked Jennifer.
"Why don't you find out yourself," the whale said, "Step closer and whisper into it, my dear human."
You walked up to the structure and whispered directly at it. Incredibly, you heard your own voice being magnified several times. The output sounds indistinguishable from your normal voice.
"Pretty neat, huh?" the whale laughed.
"Reminds me of those attractions you can see at a science park."
"So, since you'll be staying with me for some time, let me show you the room I have made for you to live in," Jennifer almost squealed, "You're gonna love it."
