Chapter #3Fox demon by: blader   You were just walking along in the forest, thankfully a team of eco-activists had prevented it and the lake it surrounded from being destroyed. You walked to the lake the path you had worn into the grass felt familiar and the grass swayed side to side as a nice summer's breeze passed through the glade. You froze as you saw a girl sitting near the lake, it was strange as you had been visiting the place for a year now and seen no other people. Well you saw couples who knew of the lake so you'd just watch them for a minute or two slightly envious as they usually enjoyed a picnic near the lakeside. As you got closer you noticed she was some sort of foreigner as she was wearing a light almost sky blue kimono and there were small slatted wood sandals on her feet. She slowly stood up and turned to face you and your eyes met for a second her violet eyes which seemed to stare right through you.
She started to walk towards you and that's when you started to really observe her. She moved with the grace and elegance of someone who was brought up to be a wife. Her long knee length blonde hair flowed behind her. You realized she was slim yet tall as she got closer you realized even at 5ft 8 you probably only came about chest height to her. Her whole body however seemed except for height, petite, small hands and feet stuck out of the kimono. However one place she was not very small was her chest, it pushed against the kimono which barely seemed to contain what you guessed had to be some quite large DD breasts yet she walked like they were no hinderance what so ever. The final thing you noticed was her face, she looked quite young probably no older then 20, 21 yet she gave off a very, motherly vibe like she really knew how to take care of people. You didn't realize she was standing right in front of you till she gave off a small cough and you looked up slightly to meet her gaze.
"Hello" she says smiling.
"Hi" you reply your gaze locked on her violet eyes and she smiles again.
"What are you doing out here?" she asks.
You shrug "I just come out here for walks, it's quite peaceful" you reply.
She nods and turns around, seems to think for a second, then turns back "would you like to come to my home?" she asks.
You stare at her for a second "uh sure, if it's not far" you reply. She smiles again "not far at all" she replies, she starts to walk away and you follow her. A minute later the two of you enter a clearing where a very simple looking log cabin sat, now this was something you had definitley never seen before. She walks to the cabin and simply walks inside, you follow her into the cabin the door shutting ominously behind you and making you jump. "Must just be the wind" you think to yourself as you examine the cabin. It wasn't much, there was a small wood burning stove, a small sink with a counter, 2 small chests of drawers, a simple red rug, a single bed, and a small japanese style table complete with sitting cushions. The woman pulls out a small brass kettle and sets to work you assume making tea, she motions with a free hand for you to sit on one of the cushions so you do.
"So, who are you?" you ask.
"I'm Kyoko, my parents moved here from Japan, they wanted to live a simpler life, what with all the modernization that was going on" she replies. You nod and she turns to face you "it's polite to tell someone who you are after they answer you" she says.
"Oh, sorry, I'm Alex, I grew up in this area but I never saw this cabin and I've been visiting these woods for years" you say.
Kyoko takes the kettle off as it boils and pours tea into 2 cylindrical cups before setting one in front of you and sitting down puts her own down. You pick the glass of tea up and take a sip, it was wonderful, best tea you had ever had, although you weren't a big tea drinker. You felt something brush against your back and you thought it must have been her hair so you looked over and your mouth just dropped. Sticking out of her head were 2 large golden fox ears and out of some hole in the back of her kimono sprang 9 long golden tails each tipped with white. Kyoko turned and stared at you "what's wrong?" she asks, you can't answer you just point at her back, she turns and notices the tails and sighs.
Standing up she says "it's as you see, I am a fox demon, I didn't lie when I said my parents moved here, but we were trying to escape, from those who wanted us dead" she says her voice sounding sad for a second. She takes your cup and hers and puts them in the sink then just stands there, "the door is just over there, you can leave, just like all the others" she says. Kyoko didn't start crying or anything she just stood there, her ears and tails drooped to the point where her ears were pressed against her head and the tips of her tails were dragging against the wooden floor. You just sat there for a second, I mean it wasn't like the ears and tail had changed Kyoko's personality, it wasn't like now you knew she was a fox demon she was suddenly trying to kill you. You slowly stood up and walked over to her and hugged her from behind, Kyoko turned around and you got a faceful of cleavage for a second before she lifted your chin up with 1 long finger.
Her violet eyes glowed slightly now as she just stared down at you "your not scared?" she asks.
"Should I be?" you reply. A smile played over Kyoko's lips and suprising you she hugged you your head landing back in her cleavage.
"Thank you" she whispers lowering her head so her cheek rested on your head. You tapped her arm and she looked down and let you go your breath escaping in a loud "pwahh" as you took in another breath. Kyoko smiles and walks over to the small table and sits on one of the pillows before patting the other, you walk over and sit down. She looks at you fro a few seconds before simply asking "why?"
"Why what?" you reply.
"Why didn't you run away? Why are you still here?" she asks.
You shrug "does knowing your a fox demon suddenly make you evil?" you ask. Kyoko shakes her head vigorously "we aren't evil......just mischevious" she says. You nod "So there's your answer, your still you even if I know your a fox demon, plus the ears and tails are quite cute" you say. Kyoko breaks out into an ear-to-ear smile and she grabs your hand and quickly stands up pulling you with her. She then runs outside and despite the fact that it was perfectly sunny you swear you felt...rain. Kyoko just smiles at you and before you could react she kisses you her tails wrapping around you holding you in place. You were too shocked to do anything for a second before you decided to just go with it and kissed Kyoko back. Kyoko broke the kiss and she smiled "you know when it rains on a sunny day it's called a fox's wedding" she says. You nod slowly and you were startled as she turned around her tails suddenly filling your view "could you please, kiss them?" she asks. You just stared at the tails for a second before cupping 1 in both hands and kissing the tip, you did the same with the 8 other tails and Kyoko turned around and smiled.
Suddenly the rain stopped as Kyoko lowered herself to the ground in a kneeling position and then laid her hands on the grass and lowered her head "please take care of me" she says. You had only seen this pose in manga and it left you stunned as Kyoko raised her head "I might be inexperienced but I'll do my best to take care of you" she says smiling.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
