The small auditorium is about three-quarters full when you enter. Up on stage a pair of identical looking women are doing basic magic tricks and warming the crowd up, while a countdown projected behind them from...somewhere...counts down to the show proper beginning. Finding a free seat on one of the aisles, you settle in to watch the warm up act. The tricks aren't anything spectacular, but the two women performing them are absolutely gorgeous and the sparkly leotards they're wearing really flatter their curvy figures.
When the countdown hits zero, a voice from nowhere cries out "That's it, time to start. Seal the doors!" A loud clap echoes through the room, and the doors at the rear of the auditorium slam shut, apparently on their own. As people react to this, there's a bang and a flash and centre stage is engulfed by smoke. You join about half the crowd in applauding the showmanship as a androgynous figure in tuxedo strides out of the smoke. "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to a magic show like nothing you've ever seen before!" The magician's voice, like their figure, is rather ambiguous - you have no clue if they're male or female. "I am the Amazing Ay, and these are my two lovely assistants Bee and Cee." The magician indicates the two leotard clad women with a wave of the hand, but none of them do anything to indicate which is Bee and which is Cee.
"We've got a spectacular show for you today, folks! Astounding feats and astonishing transformations, unmatched by anything else on Earth!" Ay continues their introduction. "Now, I like to get right into things rather than standing around talking, so without further ado, let's get underway with our first act! We're kicking things off today with that old classic, hypnotic regression! Can I get a volunteer from the audience to take part in the hypnotic regression act, please?!"
