Chapter #6A tiny change by: Sellet A woman! Clear as day, you could see enormous breasts encased in a tight fabric. Your hands flew to grasp them, but you stopped yourself upon seeing the delicate hands at the end of your smooth arms. You had completely changed. You push yourself up with a groan and look down. Your clothes had been replaced by an simple red dress. It was sleeveless and covered you from neck to ankles. Underneath, a pair of matching heels were barely visible past your bust. They were not too high, but enough to make you uncomfortable on your feet.
"Where did that bitch go?!"
You call out in a silly high pitched voice that angers you further. As you look around to see if she is still present, you are struck by the sight of an enormous log directly to your left. It was burnt with strange runes carved deep into its side. How could you have missed this before? Then you realize this is one of the sticks you saw before, only much larger. As you hobble over to it, the rest of the world around you begins to seem strange. It was not just the stick, everything was bigger. More accurately You were smaller!
Frantically glancing at the titanic trees and tall grass, you are struck by your sudden vulnerability. The nervous movements cause you to be aware of something else. A feeling of something on your back. Glancing over your shoulder, you take in obvious and enormous wings of silver. They have the appearance of a delicate film with intricate swirling patterns, but feel as solid as and stronger than arms. An opening at the back of your dress allows them free movement. As you experiment with moving them gently back and forth, you now understand you are not merely a shrunken woman. You are a fairy. The many stories you had heard about these magic creatures made you sure of it.
This was all so much to take in, that you ended up leaning on the stick. Trying to grasp your new reality made you dizzy. Resting your head against the wood brought your hair to your attention. Bouncing blonde curls were pushed into your vision, but you were too disoriented to be angry now. Besides, that seemed an insignificant change compared with the rest.
Something dropped on your arm. It felt like rain. No, a tear. You were crying! Not hard, but a steady stream of tears were rolling down your checks. This brought back a bit of the anger from before. These tears must be a result of your female body. You can not remember the last time you cried. You were not some maid who would cry and wait for rescue. You needed to take action now. Standing upright, you wipe your face on the back of your hand.
Composing yourself, you saw the stick that had supported you was different now. It was letting off a stream of red smoke. Well, not quite smoke. It shimmered like the surface of water. Rising away from its source and flowing off through the trees in a consistent path. Another new phenomena. All these new experiences were a bit much, but you knew there would be even more to come. In fact, now seemed like a good time to try your wings. Maybe you could get a better look at the shimmer from above.
How to fly though? You had no idea what the first step would be. Well if you already knew how to move your wings, maybe some part of you knew how to use them properly. Closing your eyes, you focus on rising. Your wings are beating back and forth gently, the air pulsing around them. This is a start but you must need to move your wings faster to gain altitude. Opening your eyes, you are suddenly aware of being very high up. You let out a squeak of fear and almost plummet back to the earth. You force yourself to continue the pattern of movement. Quickly you find you are able to rise and lower yourself by changing the rate of beats. The feeling is incredible. You estimate that you are near the height of your old waist, but the ground appears to be a mile away to you.
Directing your body and leaning forward allowed you to move in an uneven zigzag. You made it to the shimmer and cautiously placed a hand in it. It did not dissipate like smoke or change in any way as your hand passed through it. It was ethereal, some kind of magic aura with no physical presence. Should you follow it? Would it lead you to the sorceress? Maybe you should just try to get home for now. In truth, you were not so sure of your ability to fly, let alone fly a great distance. Maybe you should camp here and keep a watch on the area for her return. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
